My family comes from a long line of farmers, gardeners and small business owners. Having grown up with that background it only seemed fitting that I’d be a small business owner and that it would be in the green industry.

The name, Earth Landscape, was created while on my hour-long commute to work listening to the Matt Nathanson song, ‘Curve of the Earth’.

‘Earth’ is great because it can mean something a large as the entire planet, or as small as the dirt in your backyard.

With the specific plan to not have a “logo” with a tree, shovel or anything else like that. The perfect ‘logo’ was developed with the help of my sister, a graphic designer, and it is still used today unchanged.

Earth Landscape was started in 2004.
Before starting Earth Landscape I worked with the design/build/nursery company Marders out of Bridgehampton, NY.
I studied Architecture at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, before graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Landscape Architecture.

“I love what I do, and not many people get to say that. I meet great new people every year and some of those people have become my friends along the way.”

Born and raised in East Hartford, I now reside in Coventry since 2011 with my wife, our two boys and dog Freckles.
